Statement of Faith
It is the divine and complete revelation of God and it is the only rule for Christian faith and conduct.
He is all powerful, present in all places at all times and knows all things fully and perfectly. God is the source of all knowledge and wisdom; therefore, it is impossible for him to learn or improve in any way.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life among us. He was crucified and gave his life as a substitutionary sacrifice, the just for the unjust. He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and was exalted to the right hand of God. He is the only Mediator between God and man and will come again in power, glory and judgment.
The Holy Spirit
He has been sent into the world to reveal and glorify Jesus Christ. He convicts, convinces and draw sinners to Christ. The Holy Spirit continually dwells in the hearts of believers, teaching, regenerating and operating fully in their sanctification.
These three persons are one eternal God, the same in substance and equal in power and glory.
Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit
These gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit as He wills, for the good of His Body.
As a result of this sin all men are lost and face the judgment of God. We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that lost and sinful man can only be saved through Jesus’ atoning work on the Cross of Calvary. Repentance of one’s sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in salvation and re-generation by the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we believe God will reward the righteous with eternal life in Heaven and banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in Hell..
God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female..
Local churches assemble to worship God, receive edification through Holy Scripture, participate in the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, proclaim the Gospel and encourage one another in prayer and fellowship.
