PASTOR JEFFREY WILLIAMS

Senior Pastor 

BIOGRAPHY

Pastor Jeffrey Williams has been in fellowship with Love Gospel Assembly since 1992 and has been on staff at LGA for over 19 years. In the Fall of 2020 he was elevated to Senior Pastor of Love Gospel Assembly. Through the years he  has served and led many ministries including, Building Manager, Overseer of the Prayer and Communication Ministry, Instructor at Antioch School of Urban Ministry Instructor, Altar Counselors, Altar Worker, Discipleship Instructor, Care Services Director and Love Kitchen. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the College of New Rochelle and an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from Antioch School of Urban Ministry. Pastor Jeffrey is married to Carmen Williams and he has one son and daughter, two step-daughters and 12 grandchildren.

ELDER NIECEE ROJAS

BIOGRAPHY
Elder Niecee Rojas has been a member of Love Gospel Assembly for forty-one years and has been walking with the Lord for over fifty years. She is proud to have been personally mentored by the late Bishop Gerald J. Kaufman and his successor, Bishop Ronald L. Bailey who continues to be a guide and mentor in her walk with Jesus. She presently holds a M.Div. in Theology from Alliance Theological Seminary and is preparing to enter a doctoral program. She is the founder of LGA’s Theatre Ministry and has functioned as both member and leader in several other ministries. Presently, she oversees the Baptism and Coatroom ministries and is one of the Service Coordinators. In addition, she is a proud member of Antioch’s teaching faculty, having taught several classes from basic Bible to theology for over two decades. Her beating heart’s desire for every person in the Church is to be a spiritually healthy and a growing witness to the world. She believes every Christian has a role in God’s great plan, no one is left out. Elder Niecee is married, has two daughters and four grandchildren.
ELDER ROSA POWELL-BROWN

BIOGRAPHY
Elder Rosa Powell-Brown has been in covenant fellowship with Love Gospel Assembly since 1991. Currently, she is overseer of the ministry of Discipleship and Speak Life Daughters of Zion Women’s Fellowship, a teacher within the Adult Bible Sunday School and instructor with Antioch School of Urban Ministry. She has also served in various other ministries such as Superintendent of Adult Bible Sunday School, Stephen, Single Parents and Children’s Ministries. Elder Rosa received her Bachelors from Vision Christian University.
PASTOR ROCHELLE JACKSON
BIOGRAPHY

Pastor Rochelle “Chelli” Jackson has been a member of Love Gospel Assembly for 33 years. Having been saved at age 9 where her grandfather pastored her home church (Antioch Baptist Church, North Hills, PA), Chelli came to Love Gospel Assembly in 1987 and served under the tutelage of Bishop Gerald J. Kaufman and Bishop Ronald L. Bailey respectively. 

Pastor Chelli, a certified Life Coach, holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, an Associates in Biblical Studies from Antioch School of Urban Ministry, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. Previously at LGA, she has served as the director of both Children and Adult Choirs, a Teens Leader, a Worship Leader, an Antioch Instructor, a Discipleship Teacher, A Sunday School Teacher, and a producer/overseer of many special projects and presentations.

One of the greatest desires of Pastor Chelli’s heart is to see the Family of God grow in acceptance and grace, where people can truly be free in Christ. Currently, she serves on LGA’s staff as Pastor of Administration and Assistant to Pastor David Martin and LGA’s Worship Ministries. She is the very proud parent of 1 daughter and 3 sons. She enjoys music and playing musical instruments, gardening, and spending time with her young adult children and “Coffee Bean” – the family’s beloved dog.

PASTOR DAVID CARLO
BIOGRAPHY

Pastor David was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico but was raised in the Bronx. He is married to Cassie his wife of 45 years and has two sons, Darius and Jesse and four grand-daughters and a grand-son. He was raised along with his two brothers by his single parent mother where church life played a major role in his life.


Pastor David has served the Lord for over 49 years and has been a member of Love Gospel Assembly for over 44 years where he has served in various capacities of ministry, among these: Superintendent and teacher of Discipleship and Sunday School, Coffee House ministry, Temple Workers Ministry and for the past 14 years the Director of the Mission’s Ministry. He along with his wife have been active members of Barnabas Ministries a Mission’s ministry based in Florida where they have served in Guatemala, Lima, Peru, Mexico City, and San Salvador. He along with his wife also oversee the Marriage 180 ministry that serves couples and uncoupled and The Young Adult Ministry for singles.


Pastor David holds an Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, a certificate from Perspectives in World Mission’s, a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Logos Bible School and a Masters in Professional Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary.


Before retiring 6 years ago David worked for United Parcel Service for over 38 years. He now, alongside with his wife and a team of ministers joyfully serve in their local assembly.

ELDER CASSANDRA CARLO

BIOGRAPHY
Cassandra Carlo, lovingly known as Cassie, wife of David Carlo of 45 years, the mother of two sons, Darius and Jesse and grandmother to four beautiful granddaughters: Imani, Liliana, Abigail, Ciera and one handsome grandson, Langston. Cassie has been serving the Lord for 45 years and is currently an Elder, Superintendent of Adult Sunday Bible Studies and leader of the Ministry of Intercessors at Love Gospel Assembly. In her walk with the Lord she has served on the Worship Team, Prayer Chain, Temple Worker and Sunday School teacher. She also is a member of the Light Ministry Mission’s Team ministering with along with her husband in Mexico, Guatemala, and Peru; and Barnabas Ministries as part of the preaching and teaching team. Cassie Carlo has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sacred Literature from Antioch School of Urban Ministry. She also holds two Masters’ degrees in education. She was a School teacher for twenty-six years, an Educational Liaison with the United Federation of Teachers where she trained teachers citywide and taught graduate level courses at the College of New Rochelle as an adjunct instructor. Cassie is currently a very happy retiree from the New York City Department of Education.
PASTOR DAVID MARTIN

BIOGRAPHY
Pastor David Martin is a child of God, a son, a husband and a father, a Worshiper of God the Father through Christ the Son, by the Person and power of the Holy Spirit. His passion is to know, love, serve and share Christ with others, who will do the same. He is a member and in Ministry at Love Gospel Assembly since 1978. He was discipled under Bishop Gerald Kaufman. He attended Zion Bible Institute under the leadership of Dr. Leonard Hero. He also attended Logos Bible College and ETS. Pastor David serves in the Ministry as a worshipper, teacher, preacher, musician, composer, administrator, overseer and builder. He is married to Minister Frances Martin, has two adult children Judah and Hosanna, and has two grandchildren, Israel and Elijah.
REVEREND LILLIAN GUTIERREZ
BIOGRAPHY
Pastor Lillian visited Love Gospel Assembly in 1982 where the Lord spoke to her through the late Bishop Gerald J. Kaufman about the calling of God upon her life. She was the last person Bishop Kaufman ordained before his untimely death in 1997. Pastor Lillian is one of the Associate Pastors of LGA and has also served as a member of the Executive Board of the Love Gospel International Ministerial Fellowship and instructor of Antioch School of Urban Ministry. She retired from the Department of Education of NYC in 2005 after 33 years of service as a classroom teacher, staff developer and project coordinator. The Lord has opened many doors for ministry in churches, conferences and retreats throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Central America. She is presently considering taking cooking lessons because she believes “one is never too old to learn something new “.
BISHOP RONALD L. BAILY
BIOGRAPHY

Bishop Ronald L. Bailey, D. Min, is the Overseer of Love Gospel Assembly. Bishop Bailey was ordained in 1987 by the Late Bishop Gerald J. Kaufman, Founder of Love Gospel Assembly. Bishop Bailey has a B.A. in Theological Studies, M.A. in Theology from Evangelical Theological Seminary, D. Min. from United Theological Seminary in conjunction with Robert Schuller’s School for Preaching (FUQUA School of Communication). Formerly, Bishop Bailey sat on the Board of Directors of the Urban Youth Alliance Inc., The Steering Committee for The Bronx National Day of Prayer and the Board of Directors for Concerts of Prayer, Greater New York. The vision of Love Gospel Assembly continues as it stands on a solid foundation of ministry to the poor and inner city that was clearly articulated and demonstrated by the Late Bishop Kaufman. Bishop Bailey has been married to Lady Dorothy Bailey for 52 years since April 27, 1968. They have three children and six grandchildren.
